JANESVILLE WI, JOLLY JINGLE FESTIVAL

Admission is free for most activities. 

 
This fun holiday getaway weekend features a wide variety of activities that will appeal to all ages and interests, from a shopping stroll through downtown to racing Santa at the Ice Arena. 'Tis the season - don't forget to take some time to slide down one of Janesville's fantastic sledding and tubing hills!

Friday, December 5
Strolling carolers on Main and Milwaukee Streets, a tree lighting ceremony at Courthouse Park, a showing of It's a Wonderful Life at the Janesville Performing Arts Center and a skate at the Janesville Ice Arena.

Saturday, December 6
Hedberg Public Library offers activities including a Readers Theatre, baking with Mrs. Claus, teen crafts and Saturday Story Shorts.  In the afternoon, children can enjoy crafts and games, cookie decorating and performers from music to dance to magic at the Senior Center. Live reindeer will hang out at Courthouse Park in the afternoon, with a lighted holiday parade through downtown and fireworks at dusk. Skate with Santa at the Janesville Ice Arena and view the Janesville Art League Art Show at the Janesville Performing Arts Center, followed by another showing of It's a Wonderful Life.

Sunday, December 7
Visit the Christkindl Market at Library Park in the afternoon, complete with craft vendors. Celebrate Christmas with the Tallman's during an evening tour of the Lincoln-Tallman House featuring carolers, Victorian holiday décor and refreshments. Wind up the weekend with a final afternoon showing of It's a Wonderful Life.
